A: The Bio-TranZ®, one of its kind product, is a sperm shipper container with all it's contents which is designed to cool semen to approximately 5°C for overnight transport all over the US.

A: No. The quality of the sperm shipped via the BioTranz™ is as good as fresh sperm, which guarantees excellent fertilization and pregnancy results.

Q: Does shipping semen or sperm via other non-certified or properly tested semen shippers other than the BioTranz harm the sperm?

Q: Can I use the BioTranz more than once?

A: No. The BioTranz kit is intended for one time use only. Using the kit more than once increases the risk for infections and tainted specimens.

Q: What are the benefits of using the BioTranz?

A: By using the BioTranz™ one can save precious time (travel, etc) and most importantly, finances, since the BioTranz™ and the transportation (via overnight shipper) costs only a fraction of what it would normally cost for the patient to travel and stay at the given location.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: No, at this time we do not accept insurance. However, we will provide you with a receipt so that you may file a claim with your insurance company for re-imbursement.

Q: Why does the BioTranz come with 2 test tubes?

A: When using the BioTranz kit, the produced specimen is placed in 1 of the test tubes and is mixed with the Test Yolk Buffer (TYB). The second test tube is provided as a back up in case there is a mistake with the first test tube. In rare cases, the specimen produced is too large for 1 test tube. When this happens, half of the specimen is placed in each test tube with half the amount of TYB.
